Baum und Pferdgarten's Spring Summer 2027 collection, After the Rehearsal, explores the space between discipline and ease, performance and everyday life. Designed by creative directors Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave, the collection draws inspiration from the quiet moments that follow rehearsal, when dancers leave the studio, move through the city, and carry the energy of performance into their everyday wardrobe.

At its centre stands the contrast between the structured world of ballet and the relaxed reality beyond the barre. Dancewear-inspired details including belt skirts, lace, bows, and lace-up finishes reference the discipline of ballet, while relaxed sportswear, fluid proportions, and lightweight fabrics introduce movement, softness, and an effortless approach to dressing. This dialogue between precision and ease forms the foundation of the collection.

After the Rehearsal interprets the language of ballet through a relaxed, contemporary lens. Dance-inspired details, structured separates, and elevated sportswear form the backbone of the wardrobe. Tailored silhouettes are balanced with airy fabrics, delicate lace, decorative bows, and fluid proportions that soften classic wardrobe staples and create a natural sense of movement.

Relaxed sweatshirts and sweatpants extend the collection beyond the studio, elevated through refined proportions and feminine detailing that bring sophistication to athletic essentials. Familiar fabrics meet lightweight textures, while polished pieces are offset by flowing silhouettes that transition effortlessly between performance and everyday life.

A palette of pale blue, soft yellow, ballet pink, blush, and washed neutrals creates a calm foundation, interrupted by flashes of vivid red sequins that recall the confidence and exhilaration of the stage. A new deer-inspired animal print introduces an organic, instinctive quality, adding unexpected depth to the collection's visual language.
